What a humbling result, I am honoured that the people of Gilmore have put their trust in me and are allowing me to represent them and their families in Parliament. I’ll continue to work hard for all members of our community and am looking forward to getting on with the job regardless of the outcome nationally.

May I take this opportunity to thank everybody who supported me, my family, the team around me and the local community – I couldn’t have done it without you and I am determined not to let you down.
